For over 3 years, A&F has been working hard to address inequality by supporting students, young people and adults in Southwark and beyond into paid work placements, internships, temporary and permanent employment which continue to act as a barrier to those who are less well off, and to improve the social mobility for those who may not have the family or social networks to help them to get a foot on the ladder with high calibre employers.

“I needed help to prepare for functional skills level 2 Maths exam and applying for a job. I turned to Mr Fontama from A&F Tutors, who planned, delivered and using very helpful techniques to explain difficult topics and intensive practice sessions, I passed my Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Exam. "I was introduced to A&F tutoring by a friend when I needed help with finding a graduate job. I have never looked back. Aloysius helped me to find a direction in relation to finding a job, supported the whole career mentoring process from sourcing jobs, preparing customised CV, personal statements, significantly developed my interview skills and talked me through how to submit a successful application.

Thanks to his support, I now have a professional graduate job with St Georges NHS Hospital.  and I am looking forward to continuing the mentor ship in financial education as I plan to invest in the stock market."

“After starting my role as a tutor with A&F Tutors, I received immense support, advice and mentoring to become a better tutor. What impresses me most support is the support I received regarding my application for Qualified Teacher Status Training. The team at A&F helped me to identify teaching as my passion, create professional CV, cover letter, personal statement and in preparing for Professional Skills Tests. I will highly recommend it as the best company I have worked to any graduate who wants career mentoring advice, or to others who would like a career in Teaching”
